This is an annual event featuring spectacular pyro-musical displays in Valletta (Grand Harbour) and Gozo (Nadur), during the month of April. It is a colourful display of fireworks that light up the sky. Although the firework culture is engrained in the Maltese culture, it is important to note that they are also a form of lead pollution, light and noise pollution and a threat to avian species.
