Route description

The walk starts near the coastal area of Pembroke, close to the shoreline overlooking St George’s Bay. From the starting point, the route follows the coast northwards along rocky paths and open terrain, offering views over the sea and the surrounding headlands. The walk continues past Torri tal-Madliena before looping inland through quieter areas and former military land. As the route progresses, it passes White Rocks and Fort Madliena before returning towards the coast and looping back to the starting point in Pembroke. The total distance of the walk is approximately five kilometres.

Practical advice

This route includes uneven ground, rocky coastal paths and open areas with little to no shade. Walkers should take care near cliff edges and exposed sections, particularly during windy conditions. The terrain varies between coastal trails, open land and paved sections, which may be uneven in places. Adequate drinking water and sun protection are essential, especially during warmer months.
