Keep in mind
Keep your belongings secure and carry a small first aid kit. Always bring enough drinking water and be mindful of the sun, especially during summer, as there is little to no shade along the walks.
Check the weather before starting your walk. Choose a walk that suits your ability and stop if it becomes too challenging.

Practical advice
This route includes a combination of rural roads, uneven paths and exposed coastal sections, so suitable footwear is recommended throughout. Some parts of the walk are open and offer little shade, making drinking water and sun protection essential, especially in warmer weather. Walkers should take care near coastal viewpoints and rougher ground, particularly around rocky edges and uneven surfaces. The route also passes through exposed countryside and near roads, so attention is needed at all times. Due to the distance and open terrain, this walk is best suited for walkers with a reasonable level of fitness.
